•Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 (Gaming Act) enacted.
•Gaming Act prohibits all online money games, including games of chance and skill.
•Prohibits advertising, promotion, and financial transactions for such games.
•Strict penalties: up to 3 years imprisonment or Rs 1 crore fine for offering games; up to 2 years imprisonment or Rs 50 lakh fine for advertising.
