Himachal Pradesh: Met Issues 'Yellow' Alert for Thunderstorm on March 23

•High altitude tribal areas in Himachal Pradesh experienced moderate to heavy snowfall for the fifth day.
•Some mid and lower areas were lashed by widespread rains, causing a sharp fall in mercury.
•The local meteorological station issued a ‘yellow’ warning for thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds on March 23.
•Light rain or snow is likely at isolated places on March 21, 22, 24, 27, and at a few places on March 23, 26.
•Kukumseri recorded the coldest temperature at minus 4.8 degrees Celsius, while Una was the hottest at 24.5 degrees Celsius.
