Himachal Pradesh: Fresh Snowfall, Widespread Rains Drop Mercury

•High altitude tribal areas in Himachal Pradesh experienced moderate to heavy snowfall for the fifth consecutive day.
•Mid and lower areas were lashed by widespread rains, leading to a sharp fall in mercury.
•Sangla received 20.5 cm of snow, Kalpa 18.2 cm, and Keylong 10.0 cm since Friday evening.
•Kandaghat recorded the highest rainfall with 50 mm, followed by Jatton Barrage, Manali, Shimla, Gohar, and Berthin.
•MeT station issued a 'yellow' warning for thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds in Kangra, Mandi, and Kullu districts on March 23.
