India-EU FTA Legal Scrubbing Nears Completion by July: Official

•Legal scrubbing of the India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA) text is expected to conclude by July this year, an official stated.
•Negotiations for the 'mother of all deals' concluded on January 27, after nearly two decades.
•The FTA grants 93% of Indian shipments duty-free access to the 27-nation EU bloc.
•Import of luxury cars and wines from the EU will become less expensive under the agreement.
•The deal aims to create a market of approximately 2 billion people and is expected to be signed and come into force next year.
