•India has been awarded the hosting rights for the 2028 World Indoor Athletics Championships.
•The prestigious event will take place in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
•The decision was made by the World Athletics Council during its meeting in Torun, Poland.
•World Athletics Vice President Adille Sumariwalla confirmed the news.
•A two-member team from World Athletics had previously inspected the Kalinga Stadium Complex in Bhubaneswar.
