India's 1.7 Million Tonnes of Oil, LNG, LPG Stuck in Strait of Hormuz

Over 1.7 million tonnes of India's crude oil, LPG, and LNG are stranded on 22 Indian-flagged ships in the Persian Gulf.

The vessels are awaiting transit through the Strait of Hormuz, which is affected by the Middle East conflict.
•
Initially, 28 Indian-flagged vessels were in the Strait of Hormuz when the conflict began; 6 have since sailed to safety.

All 611 seafarers on the 22 stranded vessels are reported safe.
