•IPS officer Sunil Nayak was arrested in Bihar by Andhra Pradesh police.
•The arrest is linked to the alleged custodial torture of current Deputy Speaker K Raghurama Krishna Raju.
•The incident occurred during the previous YSRCP administration.
•Raju was arrested in 2021 for allegedly making derogatory remarks against then CM Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
•After the TDP-led alliance took office in 2024, cases were registered against officials and former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.
