Jharkhand Civic Polls: Campaigning Ends, Voting on Feb 23 for 48 ULBs
•Campaigning for Jharkhand's 48 urban local bodies (ULB) elections, including Ranchi, concluded on Saturday evening.
•Polling is scheduled for February 23 from 7 am to 5 pm, with votes to be counted on February 27.
•A 48-hour 'silence period' began Saturday 5 pm, banning all forms of campaigning.
•Elections will be held for 48 mayors/chairpersons and councillors in 1,087 wards across nine municipal corporations, 20 nagar parishads, and 19 nagar panchayats.
•Over 43.33 lakh voters are eligible to cast their votes across 4,304 polling booths, with 896 hyper-sensitive and 2,445 sensitive.
