Man arrested for killing relative over pathway dispute in Belagavi

•A 36-year-old man, Rudrayya Basayya Uppinmath, was arrested for allegedly killing his relative Mahesh Basayya Uppinmath.
•The incident occurred in Dodawad village, Bailhongal taluk, Belagavi district, on March 17.
•The murder stemmed from a long-standing feud and a dispute over a pathway in front of their houses.
•The accused allegedly attacked the victim with a sharp agricultural weapon, striking his neck, after an argument near a chicken shop.
•Police apprehended the accused within a day of the crime.
