Man gets life sentence for burning 'friend' alive over old grudge in UP

•A local court in UP sentenced Deepak Kumar to life imprisonment for the murder of his friend Ashutosh Tiwari.
•Kumar murdered Tiwari by setting him ablaze over an old enmity dating back to an incident involving Tiwari's sister.
•The incident occurred on July 11, 2012, when Kumar lured Tiwari to his village, drugged him, hit him, and then set him on fire.
•Tiwari's body was later recovered from Kumar's house in Sidhauli, where it had been buried.
•The court also imposed a fine of Rs 6.5 lakh on Kumar, with half of the amount to be paid to the deceased's legal heir.
