Massive NCERT Fake Book Racket Busted in Uttarakhand, Rs 9 Crore Worth Seized

•Police in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, seized nearly 10 lakh counterfeit NCERT books valued at over Rs 9 crore.
•The operation began with intercepting a 'canter' vehicle transporting suspicious books to Meerut.
•Investigation led to a warehouse in Kiratpur Koleda where 950,000 fake books were discovered.
•NCERT officials confirmed the books were counterfeit due to poor quality and a fake 'ACERT' watermark.
•A case has been registered under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Copyright Act; investigation is ongoing.
