NABARD Boosts Haryana's Rural Economy: New Units, FPO Support Launched

•NABARD launched initiatives in Haryana to empower women farmers, strengthen FPOs, and promote sustainable livelihoods.
•Chairman Shaji K V inaugurated Saras Dhara Milk Processing Unit and Viksit FPO Mustard Oil Processing Unit in Kaithal.
•A dairy processing unit for Bilona ghee by women-led FPO HANS was opened in Karnal, along with a credit outreach program.
•NABARD disbursed Rs 30,050 crore in Haryana for FY 2025-26, including refinance, direct lending, and RIDF for infrastructure.
•The bank has supported women-led FPOs for over a decade, mobilizing 13,000 women for rural entrepreneurship.
