NBCC Secures Rs 5,800 Cr Rajasthan Mandapam Project in Jaipur
•NBCC (India) Limited has secured a revised Rs 5,800 crore project for the Rajasthan Mandapam Convention Centre and allied urban infrastructure in Jaipur.
•The project, awarded by RIICO, has expanded significantly from an initial estimate of Rs 3,700 crore following fresh Cabinet approval.
•Located near Jaipur International Airport, the 90-acre development will include a world-class convention centre, exhibition halls, GCCs, IT/ITES office spaces, hospitality, retail, residential components, and a Natural History Museum.
•The project will be implemented under a self-financing model, ensuring financial sustainability and positioning it as one of the largest urban infrastructure initiatives in the region.
•Tenders for the project are expected to be floated in April 2026, with a focus on sustainability, urban resilience, riverfront revitalisation, and pedestrian-friendly public spaces.
