•NIOH Nagpur and ICMR-RMRC Bhubaneswar organized a two-day national workshop on "Operational Frameworks for One Health: National vision and state action."
•The workshop aimed to translate the National One Health Mission (NOHM) vision into actionable strategies for state and local implementation.
•Prof. Ajay Sood, PSA to the Government of India, emphasized integrated surveillance for national health security and pandemic preparedness.
•Dr. Rajiv Bahl, Secretary, DHR, highlighted the importance of inter-sectoral coordination and a whole-of-government approach for zoonotic threats.
•The workshop covered zoonotic diseases, spillover risks, biothreat preparedness, medical countermeasures, and wildlife-related outbreaks.
