Odisha to Launch Phase-1 of Digital Census House Listing on April 16

•Odisha's first phase of Census House Listing Operations (HLO) to run from April 16 to May 15 across all 30 districts.
•Over 1 lakh trained enumerators and 17,282 supervisors will collect data from households using a mobile application.
•Citizens can self-enumerate online from April 1 to April 15; data will be verified by enumerators.
•Sudarshan Pattnaik, renowned sand artist, will be the brand ambassador for the Census program.
•This marks India's first digital Census, with the second phase (population enumeration) scheduled for February 9-28, 2027.
