Odisha: Two Land Brokers Arrested for Rs 75 Lakh Fraud, Sold Already-Owned Plot

Two land brokers, Somendra Kumar Sahu (63) and Sibasankar Choudhury (46), arrested in Ganjam district, Odisha.
•
Accused of defrauding software engineer Himansu Sekhar Patro of Rs 75 lakh.
•
The duo allegedly sold a land parcel that had already been sold to other persons between 1970 and 1972.
•
Victim Himansu Sekhar Patro, from Berhampur, filed a complaint on December 5 last year after discovering the fraud.
•
Police seized relevant documents including registered sale deeds and encumbrance certificates from the accused.
