Rajasthan Patwari Arrested for Accepting Rs 50,000 Bribe in Land Mutation Case

•A village revenue officer (patwari) in Dholpur district, Rajasthan, was arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000.
•Birendra Kumar Sharma, patwari of Basai Samanta revenue circle, was caught by the Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau.
•The patwari demanded the bribe to process a land mutation entry and harassed the complainant for payment.
•The Anti-Corruption Bureau laid a trap and apprehended the accused while he was accepting the bribe amount.
•Further investigation and legal action are currently underway in the case.
