•Rising crude oil prices, crossing USD 101/barrel, and the raging West Asia conflict fueled the currency's decline.
•A stronger US dollar, heavy foreign fund outflows, and sustained selling in domestic equity markets further pressured the rupee.
•Foreign institutional investors sold equities worth Rs 7,049.87 crore on a net basis on Thursday.
•Analyst Anuj Choudhary of Mirae Asset ShareKhan expects the rupee to trade with a negative bias due to global risk aversion and inflation worries.
