Sinhagad Fort Bee Attack: Toddler Among 8 Injured; Tourist Threw Stone at Hive

A swarm of bees attacked visitors at Sinhagad Fort in Pune district on Sunday, causing panic.
•
Eight people, including 1.5-year-old Yuwash Sonar and 67-year-old Nandkumar Gharge, were injured.
•
Volunteer rescuers claimed 25-27 tourists were affected near Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare's samadhi.
•
The incident occurred after a tourist allegedly threw a stone at a beehive between 2 pm and 2:30 pm.
•
Injured were treated at Khanapur PHC and later shifted; vehicular movement on Sinhagad Ghat road was halted.
