HDFC Bank to Charge for UPI ATM Withdrawals After Free Limit From April 2026

•HDFC Bank will include UPI-based ATM cash withdrawals in the monthly free transaction limit starting April 1, 2026.
•After exhausting the free limit, a fee of Rs. 23 + taxes will be applied per UPI ATM withdrawal.
•Currently, savings and salary accounts get five free transactions at HDFC Bank ATMs.
•For non-HDFC Bank ATMs, the free limit is three transactions in top-6 cities and five in non-top-6 cities.
•This change aims to standardize fee structures and maintain transparent transaction charges.
