Lucknow Street Vendor Dragged 1 Km on Car Bonnet After Crash, Driver Flees

Vimal Pal, a 32-year-old street vendor, died after being hit by a speeding car in Lucknow's Krishnanagar area.
•
He was allegedly dragged for nearly a kilometer on the car's bonnet before falling off; the driver fled the scene.
•
Vimal was returning home with his cart when a WagonR rammed into him from behind, throwing him onto the bonnet.
•
Locals found Vimal in critical condition and rushed him to a hospital, where he was declared dead.
•
Police are investigating and efforts are underway to identify and trace the driver; the incident follows a similar hit-and-run in Kanpur.
