65-Year-Old Tourist Killed in Goa as Speeding Thar Rams Into His Car

•A 65-year-old man, Bhagat Sharma from Bhopal, was killed in North Goa after a rented Thar SUV rammed into his Hyundai i20.
•The incident occurred at a crossroad junction in Assagao on Monday; a woman and a five-year-old child in Sharma's car survived.
•Eyewitnesses reported the Thar was speeding and driven by a woman who allegedly tried to evade accountability by switching seats after the crash.
•The victim was taken to a hospital in a private ambulance after the emergency response service reportedly took over an hour to arrive.
•Police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the Thar driver, seized the vehicle, and are investigating.
