The UK is shifting to a 'digital by default' model for visas, replacing physical vignettes with electronic records.

Indian travellers will no longer receive physical visa stickers; their immigration status will be digitally linked to their passport.
•
Costs for Indian travellers remain higher due to visa fees (e.g., Standard Visitor Visa £127) compared to the ETA fee (£16).
