Bay of Bengal Low Pressure Weakens, Rain Alert for Several States from Feb 24

•Low pressure area over southwest Bay of Bengal weakens, expected to dissipate in 24 hours.
•Despite weakening, rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds expected in Odisha, Bengal, Jharkhand, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands until Feb 25.
•Thunderstorm and lightning activity forecast for Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Telangana, Kerala, and Interior Karnataka.
•Northwest India to see 2-3 degree Celsius temperature rise; dense fog in Punjab until Feb 24.
•Fresh Western Disturbance to bring light rain/snow to Western Himalayas from Feb 26-28; Delhi NCR to have clear skies, rising temperatures.
