Rajasthan, Gujarat Brace for Heatwave; Himalayas, Northeast to See Storms, Snow

•IMD warns of heatwave in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Vidarbha, and North Konkan on March 10-11.
•Temperatures in Rajkot and Surendranagar already hit 41.6°C; northern regions 5°C above normal.
•Western Disturbance brings heavy rain, snowfall, thunderstorms, and hail to Jammu & Kashmir (March 10-11) and Himachal Pradesh (March 11-12).
•Thunderstorms with lightning expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura until March 15.
•Central and peninsular India, including UP, MP, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Odisha, to remain mostly dry; isolated showers in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
