BJP Unveils First Rajya Sabha List for 2026 Polls; Nitin Nabin Nominated from Bihar

•BJP released its first list of 9 candidates across 6 states for the Rajya Sabha biennial elections 2026.
•Party national president Nitin Nabin nominated from Bihar; Shivesh Kumar also from Bihar.
•Other nominees include Terash Gowalla, Jogen Mohan (Assam), Laxmi Verma (Chhattisgarh), Sanjay Bhatia (Haryana), Manmohan Samal, Sujeet Kumar (Odisha), and Rahul Sinha (West Bengal).
•Polling is set for March 16, with counting on the same day; nominations close March 5.
•37 seats across 10 states will be contested; AITC and BJD also announced candidates.
