Kerala Elections: BJP Unveils First List of 47 Candidates; Rajeev Chandrasekhar from Nemom

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its first list of 47 candidates for the Kerala Assembly Elections.
•
Former Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar will contest from the Nemom constituency.
•
K. Surendran has been fielded from Manjeshwar, and V. Muraleedharan from Kazhakoottam.
•
The list was finalized after a Central Election Committee meeting on March 12, attended by PM Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, and Amit Shah.
•
Voting in Kerala is scheduled for April 9, with vote counting on May 4.
