UP Govt Hikes Wheat MSP by ₹160, Clears 35 Proposals for Farmers & Infrastructure

•Uttar Pradesh cabinet, led by CM Yogi Adityanath, approved 35 proposals, including a ₹160 per quintal hike in wheat MSP.
•Wheat procurement will begin on March 30, 2026, and continue until June 15, 2026, across 6,500 centres in all 75 districts.
•Eight agencies, including FCI, UP Mandi Parishad, and NAFED, will manage the procurement process.
•Cabinet approved a ₹1,435 crore International Exhibition Center in Lucknow with a 10,000-seat convention hall.
•Other approvals include an Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Centre in Sambhal and the 'Navyug Palika Yojana' for smart urban centres.
