•The incident occurred at the Vena River ghat, bordering Wardha and Chandrapur districts.
•Nagpal, a sand ghat operator, was repeatedly struck with a sword by a mob and died on the spot.
•Accused threw Nagpal's body into the Vena River basin to destroy evidence; three others injured.
•Vadner police arrested three accused, while others remain at large; investigation is ongoing.
