Mango Pest Alert: Chitrakoot Farmers Warned to Spray Now or Lose Harvest
•
Mango trees in Chitrakoot are experiencing pest and fungal infestations during blossoming, threatening the upcoming harvest.
•
Untimely spraying can lead to poor fruit quality, small size, and premature fruit drop, causing significant financial losses.
•
Deputy Director of Agriculture, Rajkumar, advises farmers to spray Imidacloprid (2g/L) and Carbendazim (2g/L) solutions.
•
The first spray should be done immediately, followed by a second spray after 10 days to prevent fungal diseases.
•
Farmers are also recommended to use AlphNaa (4.5ml in 15L water) during blossoming to protect flowers and reduce fruit drop.
