Mango Blossoms Under Attack: Expert Reveals Solution to Double Yield

•North Indian mango trees face aphid (hopper) and mealybug threats amidst changing weather conditions.
•Agricultural scientist Dr. Anant Kumar advises timely spraying to protect flowers and small fruitlets.
•First spray: Carbaryl 0.2% (4g/L water) is recommended before flowers fully open.
•For mealybugs, effective sprays include Quinalphos 0.05%, Monocrotophos 0.05%, Dimethoate 0.06%, or Chlorpyrifos 0.04%.
•Spraying N.A.A. 20 PPM (1g/50L water) can reduce fruit drop and strengthen fruit retention for better production.
