Karnataka Budget 2026: Rs 14,700 Cr Boost for EV, Energy, Infra Projects
- •1,250 EV charging stations under PM-E Drive scheme at Rs 777 crore to accelerate EV adoption.
- •Additional 2,000 MWh BESS capacity at Huliyur, Pavagada, Kushtagi substations for Rs 3,400 crore to strengthen grid stability.
- •"Mukhya Mantri Saura Krishi Yojane" to commission 3,000 MW solar plants at KPTCL substations for Rs 10,500 crore.
- •New facilities include a vehicle scrapping unit in Chikkaballapur and an advanced testing facility in Mandya with ARAI.
- •Aerospace common facility at KIADB Aerospace Park and a renewable energy incubation centre with IIM Bangalore, IISc, UNSW.
