•Overall EV penetration across Mercedes-Benz India's portfolio stands at 8-9%, surpassing the mass market.
•Luxury EV models like EQS sedan, EQS SUV, EQE SUV, and EQB are popular, with EQS locally assembled in India.
•Rising vehicle prices, driven by forex pressures and high import content, are affecting purchase conversions despite strong interest.
•Mercedes plans 11 new models this year, including the EV-first CLA sedan and V-Class, linking long-term growth to India's economic expansion.
