UP's 'School Chalo Abhiyan': Teachers to Reach Every Home, Zero Dropout Target by 2026-27

Uttar Pradesh government launches 'School Chalo Abhiyan' for 2026-27, starting April 1, targeting a 0% dropout rate.

Teachers will conduct door-to-door surveys to identify and enroll 6-14 year olds deprived of education.

Admission guaranteed even without birth certificate or Aadhaar; 3-year-olds to Anganwadi, 6-year-olds to Class 1.

Special focus on re-engaging 7-14 year old dropouts; 100% promotion target for Classes 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11.
