Bastar Naxalite Crackdown: 108 Surrender, Rs 3.61 Cr Cash & 1 Kg Gold Seized!

•On March 11, 108 Naxalite cadres surrendered in Jagdalpur, Bastar, deciding to join the mainstream.
•Security forces seized Rs 3.61 crore cash and 1 kg gold from a Naxalite dump in Bijapur district.
•IG Bastar P. Sundarraj confirmed the funds were extorted from villagers as 'tax' for weapons and organizational expansion.
•The 1 kg gold, made in Telangana, was kept to strengthen the Naxalite organization financially.
•Surrendered Naxalites are being offered a rehabilitation package, employment, and security by the government.
