•Former IPS officer R N Ravi took oath as the 22nd Governor of West Bengal at Lok Bhavan in Kolkata.
•Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court Sujoy Paul administered the oath of office and secrecy.
•Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Assembly Speaker Biman Banerjee, and other dignitaries attended the ceremony.
•No leaders from the Opposition BJP camp were present at the event.
•Ravi's appointment follows C V Ananda Bose's resignation; he previously served as Governor of Nagaland, Meghalaya, and Tamil Nadu.
