Awami League Leader VP Joaher Passes Away in Kolkata Hospital

•Advocate Joaherul Islam, former MP for Tangail-8 and General Secretary of Tangail District Awami League, died in Kolkata.
•Known as 'VP Joaher', he passed away early Saturday (February 21) while undergoing treatment for age-related complications.
•He was brought to Kolkata for advanced medical treatment, confirmed by his brother A.K.M. Atiqur Rahman.
•Joaherul Islam was an influential figure in Tangail politics, serving as VP of Government Sa'dat College Student Union and later as MP in 2018.
•His death has caused widespread grief among Awami League leaders and activists in Tangail.
