Bengal Congress Delegation Reaches EC Over SIR, Faces Entry Hurdle

•Provincial Congress delegation, led by Subhankar Sarkar, arrived at the National Election Commission office on Thursday.
•They sought to complain about West Bengal's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process.
•The delegation faced entry issues as they did not have a pre-scheduled appointment with the Commission.
•Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury previously urged CEC Gyanesh Kumar to delay election announcements until the 60 lakh voter list under SIR is finalized.
•The SIR process, for upcoming state assembly elections, has also drawn protest threats from Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee.
