•Warangal's Bhadrakali Lakefront, developed under the HRIDAY scheme, is now open to the public, offering a new tourist destination.
•The 1.1 km stretch, built at a cost of ₹31 crore, features an EPDM walking track, open gym, children's play area, and Kakatiya architecture.
•Entry fee is ₹35 for adults and ₹25 for children; monthly/annual passes are proposed for regular walkers.
•The project, compared to Hyderabad's Tank Bund, enhances Warangal's beauty and preserves historical heritage.
•Future plans include developing the remaining 2.5 km waterfront under the Smart City Project.
