71-Year-Old to Pull 10-Ton Cart Solo in Khargone Holi Tradition
•A 71-year-old man, Shriram Yadav (Sheru), will single-handedly pull a 10-ton cart in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, continuing a 900-year-old Holi tradition.
•The event, known as 'gadha pulling', takes place on Dhulandi (March 3) in Kasrawad, starting at 7 PM after colors are thrown.
•The cart, weighing approximately 10 tons with 7 large wooden and iron wheels, is specially prepared by the Patidar community, while the Yadav community prepares the 'Badwa' (cart puller).
•Shriram Yadav claims to be possessed by Khandoba Maharaj and Pir Baba, resolving people's problems for four days leading up to the event.
•The tradition includes a procession from the Khandoba temple, traditional Nimadi songs, and a turmeric Holi, believed to cure diseases and bring peace.
