DTC Launches AC Buses to Bihar, Khatu Shyam & 15 More Routes! Forget Trains

•DTC to launch AC bus services on 17 inter-state routes, including Delhi to Bihar, Khatu Shyam, Ayodhya, and Vaishno Devi.
•Approximately 50 eco-friendly, 12-meter long AC buses will operate, carrying 40-55 passengers.
•Delhi Transport Minister Pankaj Singh announced the move to strengthen inter-state connectivity and promote religious tourism.
•Buses will provide relief from train crowds and long waits; an agreement between Delhi and Bihar is expected soon.
•Existing routes include Delhi-Baraut, Sonipat, Dharuhera, Panipat; new routes planned for Ghaziabad, Rewari, Karnal, Rohtak, Alwar, Jewar.
