Rapid Rail to Link Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida; Proposal Approved
•Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini announced approval for the Namo Bharat RRTS corridor connecting Gurugram, Faridabad, and Noida-Greater Noida.
•The 64-kilometer corridor will have 52 kilometers within Haryana, starting from IFFCO Chowk in Gurugram and linking with Delhi Metro's Yellow Line.
•In Faridabad, the corridor will connect with the Delhi Metro’s Violet Line, passing through Sainik Colony, New Faridabad, NIT, Bata Chowk, and Sectors 12-15.
•The project, implemented by NCRTC, aims to integrate with existing metro networks and boost investment and employment.
•Construction is expected to begin in December 2026 and be completed in 4.5 years, improving regional connectivity and travel.
