Student's Bank Account Used in Rs 7 Crore Cyber Fraud, Friend Suspected

A student in Bengaluru, Mallipeddi Reddy, is embroiled in a Rs 7 crore cyber fraud case.
•
Reddy alleges his friend, Ayush, misused his bank account for large-scale fraudulent transactions.
•
He had given Ayush his passbook, ATM card, and linked SIM after Ayush claimed his own account was blocked.
•
The fraud was uncovered when the bank informed Reddy of Rs 7 crore in suspicious transactions and froze his account.
•
Police have registered a case and are searching for Ayush and tracking the fraudulent funds.
