•This section is part of the 26.15 km Murkongselek-Pasighat new railway line project, strengthening Arunachal Pradesh's rail connectivity.
•The project includes three new upgraded stations (Sille, Labo, Pasighat) and 27 major bridges, facilitating freight and passenger transport.
•Arunachal Pradesh's capital, Itanagar, was connected to the National Broad-Gauge Rail Network in 2014, with direct service to New Delhi starting in 2025.
•The new line will enhance connectivity via Rangiya-Murkongselek route and Bogibeel Bridge, reducing travel time, costs, and boosting regional economy and tourism.
