Jaipur Cabs Get SOS Button for Safety; 205 Drivers Have Criminal Records

Jaipur Police Commissionerate introduces SOS button in Ola Cabs for passenger safety, especially for women, elderly, and children.

The SOS feature allows direct contact with police for immediate help during unsafe situations.
•
Approximately 40,000 cabs across multiple cities including Jaipur, Sikar, Alwar, Udaipur, Bikaner, Kota, and Jodhpur are linked to this system.

Investigation reveals 205 out of 7533 cab drivers in Jaipur have criminal records; 38 out of 16436 delivery boys also have criminal cases.

Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal urges public vigilance and use of the SOS feature to prevent potential dangers and ensure immediate assistance.
