•He told his family the call was from National Sales Manager Gaurav for an urgent bank matter, then left home.
•The next morning, he sent a cryptic 'Forgive me' message to his wife Shyamala Shireesha before switching off his phone.
•Shyamala Shireesha filed a complaint with S.R. Nagar police after extensive searching proved futile.
•Police are investigating the midnight call, the reason for his departure, and the mysterious message, analyzing CCTV and call data.
