•Thane Rural Police arrested engineering student Adarsh Chandrakant Bhalerao from Titwala for the murder.
•Adarsh booked Ola to meet his girlfriend in Pune; Nasir attempted to rob him with a knife at Malshej Ghat.
•During a struggle, Adarsh killed Nasir with the same knife, then abandoned the body and drove the car to Titwala.
•Nasir's family had filed a missing person's complaint; police found bloodstains in the abandoned car.
