Hyderabad Hawala Heist: Employee Plans 1 Crore Robbery, Caught at Airport

Mohammed Khusroddin, an AC mechanic, conspired to steal Rs. 1 crore hawala money from his employer Ameer.
•
The plan involved faking a robbery by spraying chili powder and threatening with knives near Metro Pillar Number 848 in Kukatpally.
•
A small mistake by an accomplice, Ghouse Saddam, who left his motorcycle behind after chili powder fell into his eyes, led police to the culprits.
•
Police tracked the accused to Shamshabad Airport, where they were attempting to flee to Dubai with the stolen cash.
•
Khusroddin, Sharif, Ghouse Saddam, and Abdul Hameed were arrested, and Rs. 77.39 lakhs were recovered; efforts are on to trace others.
