Iran-Israel Conflict Claims Mumbai Sailor's Life: Kandivali's Dixit Killed by Missile

•Kandivali resident Dixit Solanki (25) died in a drone attack on a cargo oil tanker near Muscat, off the coast of Oman.
•The explosive-laden drone boat struck the 'MKD Vyom' tanker, causing an explosion and fire in the engine room, killing Dixit instantly.
•Dixit, originally from Diu, had recently rejoined duty after his mother's demise, only to meet this tragic fate.
•Two other Indians, Ashish Kumar from Bihar and Dalip Singh from Rajasthan, are missing after an attack on 'MV Skylight' in the Strait of Hormuz.
•The Indian Embassy in Oman expressed sorrow; 25 other crew members (including 16 Indians) on the 'MKD Vyom' were safely rescued.
