•Mayor's son and advocate, Anurag Pandey, caused a commotion at Kidwainagar police station to free lawyer Shamshad Ali.
•Shamshad Ali was called for questioning in the ongoing investigation into the fake LLB degree racket.
•Anurag Pandey argued with Inspector Dharmendra Kumar Ram, questioning the police action and stating Shamshad Ali is not a criminal.
•Police had previously busted a gang selling fake degrees from 14 universities at Shail Group of Education, Juhi Kalan.
•Shamshad Ali was released after paperwork; DCP South Deependra Nath Chaudhary confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
